The 2018 Jeep Renegade Sport is offered with two engines: a 160-hp 1.4L 4-cylinder and a 180-hp 2.4L 4-cylinder. Two transmissions are available: a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic. On the other hand, the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek 2.0i gets one engine — a 152-hp 2.0L H-4. The Crosstrek also offers two transmissions, but its automatic lacks the Renegade’s gear range. Walnut Creek drivers can choose between a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed CVT with auto-manual.
